We come to Aurelio Giglio's with great pleasure for his primi piatti (pasta and risottos). A chalk, a board and the dishes arrive copiously on uncluttered tables. Parmesan cream with truffles: tasty on penne! The pappardelle ? Al ragù d'anatra (duck)! The house insists on Calabrian products, both in the glass and on the plate. It's an opportunity to (re)discover a region that is probably a little less prominent than others in terms of the pleasures of the mouth. The key to success is to do simple things well.
