ITALIA IN TAVOLA
With its large counter "barring" the entrance, filled with ingredients and pre-prepared dishes, minimalist decor and a few tables with no particular fuss, the Transalps would rather call this place a tavola calda. A name that doesn't exist in our country, and very few in the small world of Italian-accented restaurants. This one adds the challenge of offering a number of gluten-free dishes on request... a famous challenge, won hands down and rare enough to merit a mention. The menu is varied, well-stocked and typical, with homemade pasta, numerous pizzas, prepared dishes and desserts from here and there. The warm welcome makes you feel right at home.
