The Walvis has been a real atmospheric establishment for a good fifteen years, and is right at home in its neighbourhood (Dansaert) with the canal as its backdrop. Opened and decorated by Fred Nicolay, a reference in the Brussels catering industry, it owes its current success to Senem and Lionel who have revitalised the place. Brunch every Sunday, brasserie menu and home-made fries. Musical atmosphere at the time of the aperitif: pianist in the middle of the week and music at the weekend. Special mention for their large terrace, which is sunny for a long time.
