Georges Badghi Sar, who arrived in Belgium from Syria at the age of 11, is at the helm of this gourmet streetfood establishment near Flagey. The star of the show is the homemade Syrian flatbread baked in the oven (tannour), followed by a choice of meat (slow-cooked) or a veggie option. Everything is accompanied by fresh vegetables and served either as a dish or rolled up like a shawarma. What makes the difference are the quality ingredients and the care taken in preparation. A real treat, as is the low price. The line-up in front of the restaurant bears witness to this.
