Near the Grand-Place, a Brasserie dedicated to the procession of the Ommegang and to Charles V. Belgian-Belgian cuisine, but not only.
Between the Grand-Place and the Sacred Island, the brewery takes its name from the typical Brussels folklore. Representations of the Emperor Charles V adorn the decor: coins, portraits and even stilts that symbolize the Ommegang procession. The menu is made up of Belgian dishes (carbonnades, dumplings in tomato sauce, American dishes...) and a cuisine open to the world (buratta di buffala, Cesar salad, Irish cuberoll...). Giant beer barrels converted into spaces where you can isolate yourself, beautiful Haacht beer list.
