LA ROUE D’OR
Belgian and French restaurant in Brussels in a decor of wood panelling and stained glass windows.
The Roue d'Or has the classic look of a Belle Époque brasserie. The woodwork and stained glass windows to which it owes its name are original, and the murals pay tribute to Magritte. The menu deftly swings between Belgianness, French brasserie specialities and even a few scoundrels. The inhabitants of Brussels and visitors alike will be tempted by the mussels and chips, the stoemp, the andouillettes, the old-fashioned blanquette, the waterzooi, the croquettes and tomatoes with shrimps, etc. The quality of the preparations is very consistent.

La carte est variée, tout est très frais. Les plats sont à la hauteur, si ce n'est les moules-frits très classiques et assez chers. Ne pas y aller pour manger des choses banales !
Conseils : les ragoûts sont très bons (gibier).
