Burgers, fries cooked in beef fat, grilled a la plancha or red tuna steaks in a café-restaurant in Brussels.

The Georgette in question was Magritte's wife. But there's nothing surreal about this place: the fries are excellent, to take away or eat in. The owner's core business is quality meats, such as à la plancha grills, beefy burgers, steak tartares, carpaccios, meatballs... But also fish & chips with fresh cod and tuna steaks. Note to Brussels locals: Georgette lives in a tourist district, but that's no reason to snub her. Traveller's Choice 2020.

Un très bon rapport qualité prix. Les plats sont excellents et préparés avec soins. Les frites avec sauce mayonnaise-truffes sont à tomber. Et pour parfaire le tout, le patron est vraiment très gentil et plein de bonne humeur. A recommander vivement
