Gastronomic restaurant inside the luxurious Steigenberger Hotel, offering contemporary cuisine with racy presentation.

Managed by Kevin Lejeune and Virginie Essers, La Canne has moved a little further into town, as it is now housed in the hushed halls of the Steigenberger Hotel. But it has kept its spirit of a neighborhood restaurant, and every morning, the chef and his team search out the best produce to offer a short menu of cuisine that is both modern and gourmet, full of nuances. Good food is nothing more than good products well processed, and one star later, it seems that the chef has found the winning recipe!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment!

La cuisine du chef est aussi délicieuse que surprenante. Là où certains établissements gastronomiques ont tendance à favoriser la technique au plaisir, on retrouve ici un juste équilibre entre l'exploration des saveurs et le plaisir de les déguster.

L'accord vins était remarquable, avec de très bonnes bouteilles qui viennent sublimer les saveurs de chaque service, que je recommande fortement si vous souhaitez pleinement profiter des menus.

Le cadre est superbe également, avec une ambiance tamisée, moderne et luxueuse. Rien à redire sur le service qui est lui aussi exemplaire, à la fois professionnel et amical.

Ce fut un vrai plaisir de découvrir l'art de ce cuisinier, que nous comptons bien redécouvrir une prochaine fois!

Un viaggio nei sapori e nelle consistenze. Tradizione e innovazione legate da conoscenza e creatività con una sintonia equilibrata ma sempre sorprendente. Il viaggio non sarebbe stato così speciale senza i vini selezionati in abbinamento dal sommelier che si completano attraverso i piatti ed elevano gli stessi. L’ulteriore nota di ‘dolcezza’ il tributo alle origini veronesi della nonna dello Chef tra i petit four.

Quelle magnifique découverte, un régal du début à la fin, des surprises, du jamais vu, contenants et contenus choisis avec raffinement, produits de qualité. Service à la hauteur des mets proposés. Personnel bienveillant.Endroit agréable. En résumé, un moment divinement agréable et délicieux.
