BABAM
Babam is the grandmother of chef Thibaut van Outryve, who worked at Yves Mattagne's Sea Grill and Mallory Top Chef Gabsy. She passed on her love of good produce to him. We settle into this restaurant with its contemporary inn feel (blond wood for the furniture and floors), surrounded by regulars whom Thibaut comes to greet, to enjoy comforting cuisine, such as the chicken supreme, mini peppers, candied red onions and risotto-style pearl couscous, and the ultra-regressive mandarin moelleux with vanilla sauce. Caroline's smiling service and low prices.
