A sporting event that is part of the Diamond League and brings together the best of the world's record-breaking athletes.
The International Athletics Federation has brought together six meetings, including the Van Damme Memorial, within the Diamond League. Since 1977, this event has paid tribute to the Belgian athlete Ivo Van Damme, who tragically died in 1976. It is therefore understandable that this is a prestigious sporting event that brings together the best athletes in the world. It is expected that the best performances and records will be broken. The stadium is known for its lively atmosphere and the afters (Usain Bolt was a regular DJ there).
