NOTRE-DAME DES VICTORIES CHURCH
Nicknamed Notre-Dame du Sablon, it was built by the crossbowmen's guild in the 16th century in Brabantine Gothic.
Its stained glass windows were among the most beautiful in Europe. Unfortunately, they were shattered by a hailstorm that ravaged Brussels on 25 May 1513. Those that had been spared were destroyed by another storm on 12 August 1763. The current glass windows of the church, also known as Notre-Dame du Sablon, date from 1861. It was built by the crossbowmen's guild in the 16th century in late Brabantine Gothic. The heart of the sanctuary is pierced by 11 windows 14 metres high.
