Official library, guarantor of the Belgian heritage and its authors. It houses several research centres and 2 museums.

Nicknamed the Albert I Royal Library or the Albertine. The KBR is the official library, guarantor of Belgian heritage and its authors. It houses a series of specialized research centers, including the American Research Center, the Literary Archives and Museum and the KBR Museum (currently under renovation). The institution provides access to the archives of Belgian authors and artists. Access to the reading rooms (online reservation required) is possible for those aged 16 and over, thanks to a reader's card issued on presentation of identity card.

Austère bâtiment mais qui recèle des trésors d'informations et d'expositions (temporaires ou non) / Belle salle de restauration rapide au sommet avec belle vue sure le bas de Bruxelles.

BIBLIOTHEQUE ROYALE DE BELGIQUE
Ayant fait mes études à l'ULB ( Université Libre de Bruxelles ) , j'ai souvent été , outre les bibliothèques de la FAC , à la BIBLIOTHEQUE ROYALE DE BELGIQUE ( accès très facile, près de la gare Centrale ! ) , car cette bibliothèque ,
aussi surnommée Bibliothèque royale Albert Ier, l'Albertine ou la Royale , est LA bibliothèque "officielle" garante du patrimoine belge. L'accès aux salles de lecture est possible grâce à une carte de lecteur délivrée sur présentation de la carte d'identité : moi pas de problème , comme Belge , ayant fait mes études à l'ULB.....mais se renseigner pour les "non" Belges" / CE SERAIT DOMMAGE que vous ne puissiez pas y rechercher articles , doc ... etc !
