BRUSSELS ARCHIVES
The department, housed in a former listed warehouse, preserves the archives of the Ancien Régime and of various municipal services.
The Department, housed in a former commercial building that is centuries old and now classified, preserves what remains of the administrative archives of the Ancien Régime and those of the various municipal services. It also collects all the documents and publications, from political tracts to invitation cards, private archives, newspapers and periodicals, drawings, engravings, photos, maps and plans illustrating the various aspects of life in Brussels. In the hall, don't miss the old lift and an original panel of... the Atomium.
