SCHAERBEEK BEER MUSEUM
The museum highlights the link between Schaerbeek and beer. Exhibition and reconstruction of an estaminet from the beginning of the 20th century.
The link between beer and Schaerbeek is highlighted with a map dating from 1899 and listing the thirteen breweries then in operation in the municipality. This museum houses a collection of one thousand bottles of Belgian beer and about 850 glasses. Nostalgic visitors can take a look at the showcases dedicated to the Roelants brewery, the last one to have closed its doors in the municipality, around 1960. A room is dedicated to the reconstitution of an estaminet of the beginning of the 20th century.

Pour convaincre les plus retissants , on vous propose une bière au choix à la fin de la visite. J'ai longtemps hésité à apprendre un mazout (coca bière) mais j'ai eu peur pour mon estomac
