JEWISH MUSEUM OF BELGIUM
Museum that illustrates the history and life stories of the Jewish community in Brussels
This beautiful building, close to the Grande Synagogue on rue Royale, is now a museum that illustrates the history and life stories of the Jewish community through its collections of religious objects, textiles, paintings, drawings, posters, photos, scores and music recordings. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions and various activities aimed at schools. Inside, you'll find the reconstruction of the Beth Israel shul, a small synagogue in Molenbeek that ceased operations in 2002.
