Museum dedicated to Erasmus and the Renaissance. The house belonged to a canon who in 1521 received the great humanist from Rotterdam, adviser to Charles V. Already in the 17th century, people came to see the house "where Erasmus lived". Today it houses furniture, sculptures, paintings and thousands of precious old books. A garden of medicinal plants and a philosophical garden complete this beautiful ensemble. From the same period, the smallest beguinage in Belgium, two streets away, was restored and can be visited with the same entrance ticket.
