BOTANICS
The former botanical garden, now a park, offers a beautiful walk, but it is also a complex of several concert halls.
"Brussels has two unique wonders in the world: the Grand-Place and the panorama of the Botanical Garden" (V. Hugo). Not much of the botanical garden remains, having moved to Meise (Flemish Brabant) in 1939 to survive the North-South rail link. An unusual place where plastic arts and music meet but also other arts such as dance, theatre or cinema. Small concert halls offer an intimate atmosphere for lovers of various musical styles. An Iris garden (symbol of Brussels) decorates the upper part of the park.
