CHAPEL-MUSEUM OF PENITENTS
Today, the chapel houses a museum of religious art where you can relive its history.
For over three hundred years, the chapel was the meeting place of the Tence penitents, a brotherhood founded in 1652, who criss-crossed the streets in their processions. Today, it houses a museum of religious art, where you can relive their history. During the guided tour, you'll admire the choir's carved woodwork, the ceiling rose window, the original pulpit, paintings, statues (the Black Madonna), the chasublier and its ornaments. The current chapel dates from 1813.
