Thanks to this social enterprise, plastic flip-flops, abandoned or washed up on the beaches of Kenya, are recycled into toys and art objects. Ocean Sole organizes regular clean-ups on the coast; the soaps are then sent to a workshop that transforms them into multicolored plaques. Some of the masterpieces can take up to 2,000 flip-flops to complete. The largest pieces (elephants or giraffes) are about 2 meters long.
