Island classified as a national park, with many birds, impalas, zebras, hippos and a protected species in Kisumu
A very pretty little island (4.2 km²) off the coast of Kisumu, uninhabited and classified as a national park since 1986. A haven of peace for birds. Its rich fauna has earned it national park status. Numerous impala, zebra, hippopotamus and a protected species of crocodile. The best way to get there is to hire the services of a motorboat (45 min. crossing). Ask at your hotel or contact Ibrahim (Ibrahim Tours).
