LIONS CAVE CAMP
Camp with very well kept safari tents and a nice bar-restaurant, overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro river.
The camp, run by Daniel and Roseline Letoiye, overlooks a canyon and the Ewaso Nyiro River, in the middle of bush and acacia trees. Forget the shade, but the nights are relatively cool. A path along the river leads to 2 safari tents, each with 2 single beds, very well kept and clean, dry toilets and shared showers (with a water tank system). Also a bar-restaurant under a very nice straw hut. An interesting option for backpackers who cannot afford to stay inside the Samburu Reserve.
