DESERT MUSEUM

This tiny museum presents in text and images the history, geology, fauna, flora, peoples, traditions and cultures of the North. No less than 14 tribes are represented. Objects are also displayed. It is rather school and not extremely provided, but this museum has the merit to exist. By curiosity, it is worth a look. Especially since it is located on an overhang of land overlooking Lake Turkana and the view from there is just amazing. For independent travellers, eight bungalows are also available on the same plot.
