SOUTH ISLAND NATIONAL PARK
Island located off the town of Loiyangalani, an address to discover reptiles and a unique species of wild goat.
This island, located off the town of Loiyangalani, was designated a national park in 1983. There is not much to see, the island being populated only by reptiles, as well as a unique species of (very) wild goat. The island can be a goal for sailing the waters of the lake. However, visits to the island have become rare, as navigation on the lake remains very uncertain. It is best to contact KWS in advance to find out about the possibilities.
