Lodge located in the North Mara, just across the Mara River, offering bubble rooms with a view of the river
Nyota Mara Lodge is a permanent lodge located in the Northern Mara facing the Mara River. One of the best areas for the great migration from August to December. The lodge features, among other things, a bubble room overlooking the river and the guaranteed experience of a 360° starry night. Nyota Mara Lodge is unique for its location on the banks of the Mara River, the comfort of its (very large) tents and the friendliness of its staff! There are also plenty of animals around the camp! Reservations can be made in French.

Ce séjour restera tout de même plutôt agréable, bien que le lodge se situe très loin de l'entrée du parc au bout d'une longue et mauvaise piste.
Cons:
-Beer at 4 euros, why do we have lower price in Paris open hour than here ????
-They don't take the card and don't try to arrange change for us. It's a scam.
-Questionable room hygiene, and our safari companions had an unrepaired water leak in their room and nearly fell to the ground.
-No toilet paper in reception toilet even after 2 days (do they even check their toilets?) + no locker in one of them, no flushing in the other one: choose your winner ????
Pros:
-We liked the activities organized by our tour operator and managed by the hotel staff (visit of the school, sunset apero, night safari and sunrise walk).
-The location close to Hippo pool is cool as you can see and hear them. However you rely on them to take you to room at dark.
Dommage...
On mange correctement, mais choix limité, picnic moyen. L’endroit est magique. La visite du village Massai est sans grand intérêt..
On n’y voit, par contre énormément d’animaux, surtout Girafe, éléphant et Hippopotame.
