THE GREAT MIGRATION
Go there and contact
The great wildebeest migration takes place in July/August. A fascinating spectacle to observe every year in the Maasai Mara.
Between one and two million wildebeest, accompanied by a few hundred thousand zebras, migrate each year from south to north, between Tanzania and Kenya, in search of new pastures. From December to March, they concentrate on the vast plains of the Serengeti (Tanzania) after the rainy season. In April-May, the herds head west, then north, before crossing the Mara River to reach the Maasai Mara in Kenya. They stay there until October, before heading south again.
