One of the most typical and best vegetarian and Indian restaurants in Mombasa, despite the competition. The New Chetna offers excellent cuisine, generous portions and, above all, low prices. In fact, you'll certainly get by for less than 500 shillings. When the restaurant itself is frequented by Mombasa's Indian community, it's because the cuisine is of the highest quality, a sure bet that has been around for many years, and which we recommend without hesitation, despite the less than enchanting setting.
