Your contact is neither an agent nor a salesman, but a local French guide. The best way to enjoy a safari is in private with a French-speaking guide.
Safari means "journey" in Swahili, the language spoken in East Africa. So it's a personalized journey that we offer, through spectacular unspoilt nature, discovering wild animals and meeting people and their culture.
FREDLINK TOURS & SAFARIS, founded in 1997 and headed by Frédéric Poinçon, a French expatriate in Kenya since 1994, is a Kenyan tour operator based in Diani Beach, south of Mombasa. Before becoming a guide and tour operator, Frédéric worked in France as a biologist, then carried out logistics missions in East Africa for a humanitarian organization.
Four people are currently permanently on hand to coordinate and monitor safaris from the Diani premises.
Several teams of professional drivers, guides and cooks are sent into the field to guide and supervise Fred's safari participants.
Ever since the days of the explorers, East Africa has been a source of wonder and fascination for travelers. The grandeur and power of its natural environment, and its incredible human and geographical diversity, make it an unmissable destination for an exceptional and unforgettable trip.
In a territory as vast as East Africa, distances often limit programs, but thanks to our local presence, we can work with you to build the ideal trip that's right for you.
It's easy for us to put together a tour especially for you, based on a specific duration, destination and budget.
We aim to keep travel times between sites and parks to within half a day's drive. There are a few exceptions where distances are too great, but the scenery is incredibly varied and changing, and we take our time when traveling.
