Hotel located just behind the fort, offering very good local products

Located just behind Lamu Fort, Subira House is a haven of calm in the heart of Lamu. Christina and Paul will welcome you with open arms (and in French!). An inveterate member of the Ecotourism Kenya association, this establishment is very sensitive to the island's environmental and water problems. Every effort is made to limit water consumption. It's also possible to come here just for dinner, where you'll enjoy some very good local produce, but remember to book in the morning before 10 a.m.! A very pleasant address that we warmly recommend.
