The association of guides of the island offers every Wednesday evening a guided walking tour of the old town of Eivissa
The Association of Guides of the Island, in collaboration with the Ibiza City Council, offers a free guided walking tour of the old town of Ibiza every Wednesday evening, in French! A true journey through time, this walk through the city center of Ibiza, classified by Unesco for its thousand-year-old history and the excellent conservation of its architecture, is a must! From the incredible epic of the construction of the great Renaissance wall of Dalt Vila to the adventures of the Phoenicians on the Mediterranean seas, passing through the exploits of the Ibiza privateers, the walker discovers a legendary Ibiza. You will walk through the corridors of the city, going from emblematic places to more hidden ones (such as the Soto, a secret tunnel through which the soldiers of Ibiza could enter the city without being seen by the enemy), all of this with the commentary of your French-speaking guide, who will know how to mix history and small anecdotes while making you discover some good addresses. It is possible to privatize a tour to visit with family or friends, but also to organize visits to other parts of the island, or even Formentera. A service that stands out in the tourist landscape of the island for the seriousness of the knowledge transmitted and for the natural sympathy of Silvio and his team. Even if the tour is free, don't hesitate to offer a little something to these passionate people at the end of the visit! Tested and approved by us! Reservation required.
