DALT VILA CASTLE
Castle at the top of the Dalt Vila promontory connected to the Almudaina, currently being restored to be converted into a Parador
Situated atop the Dalt Vila promontory, Ibiza's sturdy castle keeps watch over the coastline. Since the 18th century, it has been linked to the Almudaina, after the demolition of the wall and tower that separated the two buildings. The Almudaina was originally the seat of Arab power, before being used as a military barracks until the 1980s. Today, this fortified enclosure is being restored and converted into a Parador. It would appear that the hotel will be ready by 2024... or 2025.
