Located opposite the Portal de Ses Taules, the Mercat Vell is in the heart of the La Marina district. It occupies a building built at the end of the 19th century on the model of Greek temples, in the very place where farmers used to sell their produce. The market is not very big, but there are good products to shop for, including ecological fruit and vegetables and typical products of the island. Ideally placed to contemplate the comings and goings of traders and passers-by. Some of the stalls offer excellent bocadillos .
