CHURCH OF SANT JOSEP DE SA TALAIA
Church with a sacristy under the porches, an altarpiece, a wooden pulpit representing the mysteries decorated by José Sánchez Oca
The white silhouette of the church stands in the middle of the small village. It was built between 1726 and 1732 at the request of the inhabitants of Es Vedrans and Benimussa. The part of the sacristy under the porches is a remarkable place in its simplicity. Inside, there is a wooden pulpit decorated by José Sánchez Oca in 1763, representing the mysteries. Although the original altarpiece was burnt at the beginning of the Civil War, in 1936 it was replaced by an exact replica.
