Ruins of a Phoenician village relating the urbanization and the social life of the Phoenician colonies including ovens, ceramics
These remains of a Phoenician village (8th century B.C.), classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are an exceptional testimony to the urbanization and social life of the Phoenician colonies. Its inhabitants, metal seekers, came from the south of the Iberian Peninsula, which they abandoned to found a new town in the Bay of Ibiza: Dalt Vila. Ovens, ceramics, cooking utensils and even stone mills were discovered here.
