CHURCH OF ES CUBELLS
Church with a central nave and side chapels with a view of the cala d'Es Cubells and Cape Llentrisca
Built in 1864 and remodelled in the 1950s, this small church follows the codes of the island's traditional architecture, with its central nave and side chapels (note also the presence of buttresses on one side of the building), and offers a fantastic view of the Cala d'Es Cubells and Cape Llentrisca. Dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen (the parish festival is held on 16 July), the church is 6 km from the village of Sant Josep. All you have to do is follow the road from the church square to the village of Es Cubells.
