CHURCH OF SANT AGUSTÍ
Typical church of the traditional architecture of Ibiza consisting of a nave with a semicircular vault and six side chapels
A small church typical of the traditional architecture of Ibiza, the church of Sant Agustí des Vedrà is located in the centre of the village. It was built at the end of the 18th century. It is a very simple building with a single nave with a semicircular vault and six side chapels. The presence of buttresses on one of its sides and the absence of an exterior portico are noteworthy, making it a rather unique church in the sacred landscape of Ibiza. The parish feast day is celebrated on August 28, the feast day of Saint Augustine.
