MUSEUM AND VINEYARD GARDEN
Formerly the largest wine-growing town in the region, Old Brioude had over 450 hectares of vineyards in 1880. This museum pays tribute to the generations of winemakers who have succeeded in this place, which contains extraordinary architectural and historical riches. The garden of the priest is an indispensable stage of the visit: Different ornamental, vegetable and medicinal plants adorn the place, recalling what could be seen once behind each presbytery. At the top of a rocky spur, at the edge of the garden, a splendid view is offered to you. Ancient statues and religious ornaments form the treasure of the church, which is also possible to visit.
