CHURCH OF SANTA AGNÈS
One of the smallest churches in Ibiza with a low ceiling and a spherical vault covering a nave with six chapels
Located in the village square, itself in the heart of a splendid valley covered with almond trees, the church of Santa Agnes is typical of the local architecture, except that it has the particularity of being rather low-ceilinged, compared to the other churches on the island. Built between the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 19th century (work began around 1785 and was completed in 1812), it is one of the smallest and most sober churches on the island. Its spherical vault covers a single nave with six chapels.
