TORRE D'EN VALLS
A two-storey tower dating from 1763 and serving as a coastal defense, where you can enjoy a superb view of the Tagomago islet
Dating from the 18th century, this two-storey tower was completed in 1763 for coastal defence. It was then equipped with two cannons and two guards were permanently installed there. Partially destroyed in 1864 due to an explosion triggered by lightning (which is said to have set fire to the gunpowder, although tradition has it that it was an act of passion against a guard), it was not restored until 1982. From here, the view of the islet of Tagomago - Eleonora's falcon paradise - is superb.
