CALA D'ALBARCA
Cove, once a pirate refuge in the Es Amunts area, popular with hikers and nature lovers for its landscape
A beautiful cove located between Cap Rubió and Cap d'Albarca, Cala d'Albarca is an old pirate refuge and one of the most emblematic and impressive beaches in the area known as Es Amunts ("the heights"). A spectacular landscape of cliffs and coasts, where various species of birds - such as the Eleonora falcons of Madagascar - find shelter. For hiking enthusiasts, this is one of the most beautiful and easiest excursions in Ibiza, only 3.5 km from the village of Sant Mateu.
