Es Amunts (which means "the heights" in Catalan) is the name given to a protected natural area that occupies almost all of northern Ibiza, from Cala Salada in Sant Antoni to Aigües Blanques near Sant Carles. It is in this part of the island that the landscape, customs and traditions have been best preserved. Its interpretation centre, inaugurated in 2009, allows you to understand the ecological and ethnological richness of this area, and will probably make you want to go on excursions - and there are many - in the area!
