HACIENDA NA XAMENA * * * * *
Luxurious rooms with panoramic sea views in a hotel with restaurants, swimming pools, terraces and spa in Sant Miquel.
Reputed to be the best 5-star hotel on the island, the Hacienda Na Xamena is located in an exceptional setting, suspended on a promontory that drops almost sheer into the sea. In the heart of a typical Mediterranean pine forest, Hacienda Na Xamena offers 77 luxurious rooms and suites, with panoramic sea views and whirlpool baths. Two restaurants complete the high-level offer. In addition, the new Finca Na Xamena will be inaugurated in 2024: a place in the heart of nature where you can discover the soul of old Ibiza. The ultimate in luxury.

We stayed here for a few nights at the end of September, and it was the ultimate in relaxation.
The location is breathtaking, the views of the sea never get tired, the sunset was mesmerising.
The rooms are well equipped (be careful of the doors on the shower room, they are heavy and could easily trap your fingers!). The spa bath in the room is a nice touch. The room felt private, and even though there is a huge window looking out to sea, it never felt overlooked.
The restaurant was excellent, if a little pricey, and there wasn't a huge selection of vegetarian and vegan food.
I hope the hotel management read this review, as we felt that a special mention of the staff was in order. Nothing was too much trouble, anytime of the day or night, and any task was carried out efficiently and with a smile. I felt that some other guests were maybe not as polite as they could have been, but that didn't stop the staff being friendly and helpful. The hotel really does have some of the best hotel staff I have ever come across.
The only downside to this stunning hotel, was not the fault of the hotel, but it is probably worth noting. 'Wannabe Instagram Influencers', doing impromptu photo shoots, changing outfits in public areas, taking up whole sofa areas, for their 150 followers, squashing their buttocks against the glass balconies, so hard you could almost see what they had for lunch, and generally being a little too up themselves... anyway, the staff would never complain, they are far too polite for that, and I guess this is just the way the world is going now.
Anyway, if you are looking for a stunning, relaxing, break, book here, you won't regret it.
The large pool area is great for chilling and admiring the beauty of the place.
Breakfast as well as restaurant are top notch with a great selection. Definitely into fine dining direction.
The rooms are spacious, clean and very sleek.
The hotel itself is kinda "arty" which I personally really like. The layout of the hotel especially when it comes to the hallways is a little bit like a maze. It's fun and you get used to it after a day or two.
Spa area also bright, clean and spacious with various treatments on offer.
Staff is incredible. Super friendly and always up for a chat, jokes and casual conversations. Feels more like you're with friends instead of a "faceless" hotel which I personally really dig.
Don't have kids myself but the play area for kids is big! Plus they have everything ready for your little ones to use one of the many pools.
100% worth a visit. This time I was there with the company but next year coming back for sure private.
