The defensive tower, which dates from the 18th century, was built almost 100 metres above sea level. It was built to control and prevent pirate invasions to the north of the island. The view of S'Illa des Bosc, S'Illa Murada - and a little further on the port of Sant Miquel - is exceptional from this spot.
