TORRE DE SA PUNTA PRIMA
The defensive tower of La Punta was built during the eighteenth century to protect the inhabitants from pirate incursions
The defensive tower of Punta Prima was built in the 18th century as part of the installation of a defensive system along the island's coastline to protect the inhabitants from pirate incursions. Renovated in 2003 by the Island Council of Ibiza and Formentera, the circular tower, built on two levels, made visual contact with the towers of S'Espalmador and Punta de la Gavina. Panoramic view from the cliff. The silence and fullness here are only disturbed by the singing of the gavines ("seagulls").
