A three-aisle building flanked by four octagonal towers presenting temporary exhibitions of all styles and trends

A sumptuous example of Mallorcan civil Gothic, a witness to the city's rich commercial past. The building, built between 1426 and 1447 by Guillem Sagrera, was the market square and the seat of the College of Merchants. Its rectangular architecture, flanked by four octagonal towers, is divided into three naves separated by twisted columns without capitals. Eight large windows bring light to its splendid vaulted hall, which now presents temporary exhibitions of all styles and trends.
