Amazing fortress with a small round patio and a municipal museum offering a free visit on Sundays

3 km from the centre of Palma and more than 100 m above the sea, this amazing fortress offers a beautiful view of the city and its bay. You can't miss it: its massive circular construction is flanked by four towers, including a keep. Built in the 14th century at the request of James II, the castle was the residence of the kings of Majorca, but also a military prison in the 16th century. It shelters a small round patio, with two galleries of arches, as well as the municipal museum of History. Free visit on Sunday.

Un incontournable des visites à faire a palma, mais attention seul le bus touristique no 50 y amène, les bus de ville s arrêtent en bas de la colline. Original avec son donjon décalé, point de vue sur la ville très large. Accès gratuit avec le palma pass

Superbe château bien situé pour avoir une vue plongeante sur Palma. Cela vaut vraiment la peine de rentrer et de monter sur la terrasse supérieure. PAr contre, le qrcode ne fonctionne pas bien. Beau parc entourant le château.

El Castillo de Bellvedere , situé à plus de 100 m au-dessus de la mer, offre une très belle vue sur la ville et sa baie ; de construction massive circulaire , il possède quatre tours dont un donjon , tout cela datant du XIVe siècle
Aussi à y voir : un petit musée : PLAISANT et belles vues ! !

Beautiful castle offers stunning views of Palma and its bay. Entry not expensive. However, the lack of historic information. For example, the rooms of the castle of sculpture in all sorts but no sign indicates to what it is. Too bad!
