Caves probably discovered by man in the Bronze Age with archaeological excavations

The Coves de l'Alziranet are located at the entrance to Cala Sant Vicenç, on the right of the main access road, in the heart of the area known as los Encinares and its beautiful oak forest. These caves were probably discovered by man in the Bronze Age and were used as a necropolis. Archaeological excavations have been carried out there. Of the 11 caves that have been "fitted out" (benches and niches have been incorporated into the larger ones), cave number 7, which is believed to have been occupied since 3500 B.C., is considered by specialists to be one of the most beautiful.
