Church with 10 side chapels, an organ dating from 1732 and artistic treasures
This is the church of the Santo Domingo convent. Designed as a basilica and with ten side chapels, it is also worth a visit for the artistic treasures it houses, starting with a superb 17th-century Baroque altarpiece (1651) by Joan Homs and the tomb of Joan Mas (1520-1607), a native of Pollença and a hero of the battles against the Arab invaders. You can also admire the organ built in 1732, a real instrumental jewel.
