CLOISTER OF THE CONVENT OF SANTO DOMINGO
Beautiful baroque building with a municipal museum that organizes the annual classical music festival of Pollença
The construction of the cloister of the Convent of Santo Domingo, a superb Baroque building, was commissioned by the Dominicans towards the end of the 16th century and delivered by the architects in the second decade of the 17th century. The monks occupied the place until 1833. In addition to some remarkable architectural pieces, including the gateway to the garden, it houses the municipal museum and is the setting for Pollença's annual classical music festival.
