ORATORY OF SANTA ANNA
Oratory in the south of the walled city preserving original altarpieces and triptychs
A modest religious building from the 13th century (dedicated to Santa Ana and San Joaquin), remodelled at the beginning of the 20th century, its interior consists of a single nave supported by three Gothic arches. On the façade above the portal, there is a free space that until recently housed a fine statue of the Virgen de la Bonanova. This image, as well as the original altarpieces and triptychs, are kept in the parish museum of Alcúdia. The oratory is located 400 metres south of the walled town.
