A studio in Maó built with the aim of blurring the boundary between the public and art.
A totally unique concept in Menorca, Estudi Barbar (meaning "Barbarian studio") is a creative space, or rather an artists' studio, open to the public. The desire of the founders is to erase the boundary between the public and art, so passers-by are invited in to observe the visual artists at work, to exchange ideas and engage in dialogue. Fun fact: none of the artists working here are natives of the island, but all have found it a pleasant place to indulge their passion.
